Singapore Visa Update
Singapore | 22nd February 2022

We refer to our e-mails dated 26 October and 26 November 2021 on the launch of Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTL). Please be informed that with immediate effect, the Consulate-General will no longer require applicants to apply for either a Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP) or Approval Letter of Entry (ALE) prior to submitting visa applications. However, while AVAs continue to process and submit visa applications as per normal, please continue to remind applicants that short-term visitors to Singapore are still required to obtain a ALE for non-VTL flights, and VTP for VTL flights, prior to commencing their journey. Applicants should also be made aware that the visa fees are non-refundable should the applicant not obtain or possess the proper documentation prior to travelling to Singapore.
