Dear Applicants/Representatives/Travel Agents,

As per the confirmation received from Japan Embassy New Delhi, below listed categories remain same.

  • COE's with code 1584 for all categories.

  • Dependent With COE

  • Long term resident With COE.

  • Spouse/ child of Japanese national.

  • Spouse/ child of Permanent resident.

Effective from 02nd March 2022. all other categories of COE' s and Business Visa (Short term) applications will also be accepted in our Japan Visa Application Centres in New Delhi, Certificate for Completion of registration to the ERFS system from Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare “is mandatory for these newly open categories, without this certificate the visa applications will not be accepted and processed.

Singapore Visa Update
Singapore | 22nd February 2022

We refer to our e-mails dated 26 October and 26 November 2021 on the launch of Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTL). Please be informed that with immediate effect, the Consulate-General will no longer require applicants to apply for either a Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP) or Approval Letter of Entry (ALE) prior to submitting visa applications. However, while AVAs continue to process and submit visa applications as per normal, please continue to remind applicants that short-term visitors to Singapore are still required to obtain a ALE for non-VTL flights, and VTP for VTL flights, prior to commencing their journey. Applicants should also be made aware that the visa fees are non-refundable should the applicant not obtain or possess the proper documentation prior to travelling to Singapore.

Travel Update: From 17th February 2022, Switzerland has further eased travel restrictions:
  • Only fully vaccinated Indian travelers can enter (vaccine validity :270 days from the 2nd dose or booster).
  • The Swiss PLF entry document is no longer required.
  • The Swiss Covid Certificate is no longer required for travel with in Switzerland.
  • Masks are only mandatory in public transport and healthcare institution.

Important guidelines for minors/children:

  • Minors under the age of 16, travelling with fully vaccinated parents do not require to be tested.
  • Kids between 16 & 18 years must either be fully vaccinated or submit a-ve PCR test result if travelling with fully vaccinated parents.
